Things At Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows You Can Enjoy For Free

If you’re staying at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows through DVC, there are quite a few things you can enjoy at no additional charge. I’m separating genuinely complimentary perks from things that are available at the resort but normally cost extra.

Complimentary at the Polynesian

Resort amenities & recreation

• Lava Pool — including the volcano-themed pool and waterslide

• Oasis Pool

• Pool towels

• Polynesian Village Campfire activities — campfire and scheduled activities

• Movies Under the Stars on select nights

• Volleyball — complimentary volleyball equipment can be checked out

• Jogging/walking trail around the Seven Seas Lagoon

• Electrical Water Pageant — nighttime lagoon parade

• Scheduled resort activities — the recreation calendar can include games, crafts, contests, music and other activities; offerings vary by day.

Transportation

• Monorail from the Polynesian to Magic Kingdom

• Monorail to EPCOT with a transfer

• Water taxi to Magic Kingdom

• Disney buses to destinations throughout Walt Disney World

• Walking access to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), giving you additional transportation options

• Complimentary overnight self-parking at the resort

• Complimentary standard parking at the theme parks, water parks and Disney Springs while you're a Disney Resort hotel guest. 

In your room / resort services

• Wi-Fi

• Self-service laundry — this is particularly useful for DVC stays, although laundry isn't necessarily free in every location. The Polynesian Villas have a laundry room for Villa guests.

• Grocery delivery to your Villa for DVC Members who arrange eligible grocery orders — the delivery service itself may have fees, so don't confuse this with free groceries.

• “Hey Disney!” voice assistant in applicable rooms.
  

A BIG current bonus: free water park admission

For 2026 stays, there's an especially good current perk:

Disney Resort hotel guests arriving May 26–September 8, 2026 receive complimentary water-park admission on their check-in day. This applies to eligible Disney Resort hotels, which include the Polynesian. So if your trip falls during that window, you can visit Disney's Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach (whichever is operating) on your arrival day without buying a separate water-park ticket. 

Other "free" perks that come with being a Polynesian DVC guest

Because the Polynesian is a Deluxe Resort/DVC property, you also receive:

• Early Theme Park Entry — 30 minutes before the official opening time at all four theme parks, every day of your stay, including check-in/check-out days. 

• Extended Evening Theme Park Hours at eligible parks on select nights — this is a particularly valuable benefit because Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is a Deluxe Villa Resort. 

• Free viewing of Magic Kingdom fireworks from the resort — you don't need a park ticket to enjoy the fireworks from the Polynesian grounds.

• Free Electrical Water Pageant viewing from the Polynesian shoreline. 

Things people sometimes think are free—but aren't

These are available to you, but aren't complimentary simply because you're staying DVC:

• Fishing excursions

• Marina rentals / watercraft rentals

• Minnie Van service

• Spa treatments

• Paid recreation activities

• Food and drinks, including Dole Whip

• Cabana rentals

• Babysitting/child-care services

• Valet parking

• Merchandise

• Theme-park admission itself

For example, Disney lists bass fishing at the Polynesian, but it's a guided excursion, not a free activity.
